Bale Was Never Tipped To Lead Real Madrid When Ronaldo Left - Calderon

Former Real Madrid President has said that he can not guarantee that Gareth Bale will still be a player of the Galaticos next season.
Real Madrid was ruthlessly beaten 4-1 at home in the UEFA champions league yesterday by Ajax, kicking the Champions out of the competition. This defeat ignited  the possibility of the speedy attacker, staying at the club next season.

Gareth bale’s recent behaviour towards his teammate, the fact that he can’t even speak Spanish, and the fact that he seldom leaves the pitch before the end of matches, has shown lack of commitment and the fans are not happy with him.

Calderon said: "He's left the stadium during a few matches before those matches had finished. That behaviour with the team-mates, also that he doesn't speak the language, are some facts which give the fans the idea that he's not really committed with the club"

Calderon went further to say that Gareth Bale wasn't the saviour the club was looking up to after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Talking to Sky Sports News, Calderon said: "It's true that he wasn't the leader people expected here after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure,"

"He showed a lack of commitment. People are not happy - they saw how he shrugged off his team-mates when they went to celebrate a goal with him in LaLiga match against Levante and also  his injuries.

"It's a pity. I don't see him here next season unfortunately."
