Just In - Cadbury Nigeria Appoints First Ever Female Managing Director

Cadbury Nigeria is one of Nigeria's foremost company producing quality foods, Sweets and drinks, with it head office situated in Lagos State.

The company announced that it has appointed Mrs Oyeyimika Adeboye as it new Managing Director and she's to resume her new position come 1st April, 2019.

She will be taking over from Mr. Amir Shamsi who has been transferred to Cadbury International to take up a new role.

Mrs Adeboye will be the company's first ever female Managing Director since the establishment of Cadbury Nigeria over 50 years ago.

Mrs. Adeboye, a chartered accountant by profession, joined the Company's Board of Directors in November 2008, as Finance and Strategy Director, West Africa.

Before joining Cadbury Nigeria, Mrs. Adeboye worked as Finance Director with Nigerian Bottling Company for 13 years. 

She attended the University of Cardiff, England in 1986 and graduated with a B.Sc in Economics.

Her appointment shows the company's commitment to promoting gender equality, diversity and inclusion.
