Manchester United "Come Back" Win Against Southampton "Like The Old Days" For Solkjaer

Manchester United came back from a goal down at first half, to beat Southampton 3-2 at old trafford on Saturday.
Lukaku celebrates his winner at Old Trafford
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who addressed the media immediately after match, compared Manchester United's win over Southampton to "the old days" of thrilling late victories.

United went behind at Old Trafford to a Yan Valery strike in the first half, Andreas Pereira and Romelu Lukaku put Manchester United ahead in the second half, before Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse levelled for the away team with a stunning free-kick.

However, at the 88th minute, Lukaku scored the winner to make it 3-2, lifting Manchester United to 4th place position above Arsenal in the EPL table.

Solskjaer, who famously scored the injury-time winner in the 1999 Champions League final, said that is how a true United team play.

He said: "The manner of it is like the old days, I have been part of it so many times myself. I'm so pleased for the boys, they managed to claw three points out of this game.
"You forget you are tired. You just run and you want that ball delivered around the box. We have done it so many times. As a manager, that is not the way you want to enjoy the first 90 minutes. You want to be comfortable"

Solskjaer went further to praise the effort of the team, especially that of Romelu Lukaku and Andreas Pereira.
