United Officially Confirmed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer As Full Time Manager On A 3 Year Deal

Manchester United has officially announced the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as full time manager on a 3-year deal
The former United striker who made a total of 366 appearance and scored 126 goals for the club between 1996-20107, was handed the position of a caretaker coach in December following the sack of Jose Mourinho.

The former Molde Coach had since inspire the team's morale and inculcate the club’s believe and winning mind-set into the players, making Paul Pogba to flourish in his rightful position. 

He brought back the attacking football Manchester United fans has been craving for since Sir Alex Ferguson left and has recorded 14 wins, 3 loss and 2 draws since taking over in December. Placing the team in the run for top four finish and a quarter-final qualification after beating Paris Saint German 4-3 on aggregate to face Barcelona.

His appointment on a 3 years deal was officially announced by United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward on Thursday.

He said: "Since coming in as caretaker manager in December, the results Ole has delivered speak for themselves," 

"More than just performances and results, Ole brings a wealth of experience, both as a player and as a coach, coupled with a desire to give young players their chance and a deep understanding of the culture of the club. This all means that he is the right person to take Manchester United forward.

"I want to thank Ole and the coaching team for everything they have done so far and congratulate him on this richly deserved appointment. The fans and everyone at the club are behind him as he looks to take us where we need to be and build the next stage of our history."
