Breaking - Nigeria Records 204 Highest COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 1932

Nigeria Coronavirus Cases
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has announced a massive increase in the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, surpassing the 196 cases recorded on Wednesday 29th April.

The center gave this report via its verified twitter handle, where it stated that 204 (Two hundred and four) confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in the country.

The total breakdown per states are as follows; Kano State (80), Lagos State (45), Gombe and Bauchi State recorded (9) each, Borno and Edo State recorded (7) each, Rivers and Ogun State recorded (6) each, FCT (4), Akwa Ibom (4), Bayelsa (4), Kaduna (3), Oyo State (2), Delta (2), Nasarawa (2), Ondo and Kebbi State recorded (1) each.

From the above report, Kano State got the highest number of confirmed cases (80), leading Lagos State for the first time since the index case hits Nigeria.

As of April 30, 2020, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria is now 1932. A total of 319 patients have been treated and discharged, with 58 death cases recorded.

According to NCDC, a total of 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria have recorded at least one confirmed case of #COVID19. 71% of all cases are from three states.
