Naira Marley Apologizes For Violating Lagos State Shutdown Directive (See Letter)
Lagos State government reported that Naira Marley has sent in an apology letter for violating the state's shutdown directives given by the state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, following the rapid increase of COVID-19 cases reported in the state.

Subsequent to being allowed bail around four days back, Nigerian artist, Naira Marley has marked a letter of conciliatory sentiment to the Lagos State Government for debasing the stay at home directive.

Marley was kept at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba on Monday, April 6 after he handed himself over for questioning.

A police source affirmed that he was conceded bail exactly the same day he was summoned in court on Wednesday, April 8.

Presently, a tweet by the Lagos State Government shows the marked Letter of Apology by the vocalist.
