Breaking - Nigeria Records Highest Daily COVID-19 Cases, 553 Recorded, 378 In Lagos Alone

Nigeria on Saturday 30th May, 2020 recorded it highest Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in a day, according to the recent update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).  The health management centre made this known in a tweet via it verified Twitter page at around 11:45pm on Saturday, where it disclosed that Nigeria recorded a massive 553 (Five hundred and fifty three) new cases of the novel virus. The highest the country has recorded in a day since the ravaging virus hits the country.

The health management centre made this known in a tweet via it verified Twitter page at around 11:45pm on Saturday, where it disclosed that Nigeria recorded a massive 553 (Five hundred and fifty-three) new cases of the novel virus. The highest the country has recorded in a day since the ravaging virus hits the country.

According to the breakdown released by the centre, of the 553 new cases recorded, 378 was recorded in Lagos State alone, 52 in FCT Abuja, 23 in Delta, 22 in Edo, 14 in Rivers, 13 in Ogun, 12 in Kaduna, 9 in Kano, 7 in Borno, 6 in Katsina, 5 in Jigawa, 5 in Oyo, 3 in Yobe, 3 in Plateau, and 1 case in Osun State.

Mackenzieskyblog can report that Nigeria has now confirmed a total number of 9,855 (Nine thousand, eight hundred) cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, 2,856 (Two thousand, eight hundred and fifty-six) isolated patients have been treated and discharged, and a total of 273 death cases recorded so far.
