Former President of the USA, Barack Obama |
Obama disclosed this in a tweet via his verified Twitter page, where he stated that over the past few months he has spent a lot of time listening to music with his family and has decided to share some of his favourites from the summer.
"Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer—including songs from some of the artists at this week’s @DemConvention. Hope you enjoy it," the former US President tweeted.
The song which features popular American singer and songwriter, H.E.R was debuted last month July 2020 and has made over 3M+ streams across all digital platforms.
“SMILE” has peaked #5 on Billboard’s World Digital Songs Sales Chart and spent 2 weeks on the chart, and also peaked #13 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Songs which is the first week.
This is Wizkid’s tenth entry in the Billboard top 10s on World Digital Sales Chart and his third entry on R&B Digital Songs which is the most for any Nigerian artist.
Other African music artists that made it to the ex-Presidents 2020 summer playlist are Davido and Ghanaian music star Shatta Wale.
