Nigerian Superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has dropped his much awaited single titled 'FEM' which seemed to be a direct diss/threat to fellow musician Burna Boy.

'FEM' which means 'Shut Up', also marks the return of Davido to social media after he initially left on June 3, 2020.

The song has attracted mixed reactions from social media users as they relate it to Burna Boy per the lyrics of the song.

It can be recalled that Burna Boy and Davido clashed some months ago where he threw shades at Davido.

Earlier, before dropping ‘Fem’, Davido took to his social media pages to drop an indirect reply to BurnaBoy.

He wrote;

"To the people talking about you because they don’t understand your shine, dey don’t understand your grace, dey don’t understand why they can never be what you are or have what you have..we say #FEM!."

The first line of Davido's FEM track says;

“E be like you don dey talk too much, small talk you don dey talk talk, fem. O boy, you don dey do too much, small talk you don dey look who talk, fem…"

Davido purportedly calls out Burna Boy (Odogwu) in the song, saying that Burna Boy should mind his words before his 30 billion gang will come for him.

See the lyrics below...

“Person wey dey find pity, nor dey do me itty bitty. You wan know 30 BG, you go know 30 B when you see 30 BG...

“Then Odogwu say we ‘Like To Party’ just call me...

“Why dem come dey para for me? Na why 30 BG, dem go para for you o

“Before the matter gets serious, before the whole matter gets dangerous, you need to make sure you don’t say too much coz if you say too much, I fit run up on you… I get men, I nor dey gather boys.

“I just dey live my life, man dem turn am to shoot on sight. Why? E be say na me dey give them life… Make una tell am to call me…”

This burgeoning news platform gathered that the feud between the musicians began after Burna Boy didn’t award Peruzzi a songwriting credit for his 2019 single, ‘Pull Up’.

That credit would have meant Peruzzi got Grammy-nominee right for African Giant, as he was a co-writer of the song, titled ‘Pull Up'.
