Manchester United have made significant progress in their efforts to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund as both agents' fees and personal terms have been agreed.

Despite Dortmund's insistence that the 20-year-old will not be sold this summer after United failed to meet the club's deadline, progress has been made between United and Sancho's representatives during the last 24 hours

According to the popular Sports journalist and reporter, Fabrizio Romano, the England international has agreed on personal terms with Man United by months and would love to join the Red Devils, but United will have to pay €120m to BVB or nothing.

Sancho is expected to earn around £250,000 a week, but a major stumbling block remains the structure of the deal, with Dortmund still insisting they want €120m (£108m).

The Old Trafford outfit has so far proved reluctant to meet those demands, with the club believing that their price tag is unrealistic given the global economic impact of Covid-19.

This burgeoning news platform gathered that United have offered to pay an initial £90m last month,  a fee that would set a transfer record for an English player, plus a further £18m potentially due in performance-related add-ons.

Negotiation between the two clubs is ongoing behind the scenes and has intensified over the past few weeks, with Sancho having made clear his desire to return to England having spent three years in Germany.

However, it is understood that Sancho has no intention to force a move away from the German club and he is prepared to stay put if no solution can be found.

Manchester United has signed Donny van de Beek from Ajax this summer for £40m, Jadon Sancho remains the club's top transfer target, while Jack Grealish, Sergio Reguilón, and Dayot Upamecano are among a host of players to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
