Sen. Hadi Sirika stated that there has been some growth in Nigeria’s civil aviation although the COVID-19 pandemic led to some setbacks. He added that the National Assembly and the executive arm of government have colluded for the common growth of the aviation sector.

He went further to name the various States that have been marked to benefit from this new development, adding that civil aviation has been elevated by the present administration.

In his words:

“So, we have about 10 new airports coming up; that is almost half the number of airports we used to have in Nigeria. We are adding 50 percent of the number of airports.

“There are airports coming up in Benue, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Lafia, Damaturu, Anambra, and so forth. All of these show that civil aviation is growing during this administration.”
