Controversial US-trained investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has made public the conversation between the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu when they met.

Tinubu visited the State's governor at the State House in Marina, Lagos on Saturday demanding a thorough probe into the shooting of #EndSARS protesters in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

According to Kemi, when the two men met, they discussed the Lekki massacre which happened on Tuesday evening 20th October at the Lekki Toll Gate, where the footage released on all social media platforms saw the soldiers shooting at the peaceful #EndSARS protesters holding the nation's flag and singing the national anthem.

Kemi disclosed that Tinubu joined his son Seyi Tinubu and scrutinized the properties destroyed and they also discussed the lives lost to SARS and the ones lost during the protest. In conclusion, they agreed that the injured individuals who were shots must answer a few questions regarding the incident.

"ASIWAJU TINUBU just met with us after talking with Sanwo-Eko on the #LekkitollgateMassacre. He asked the governor who ordered it and told Sanwo to do a THOROUGH investigation.

“First, we have to segregate the calendar: those who suffered casualty before the protests from the hands of SARS. You have to separate that from those who suffered casualty due to what happened at the toll gate.

"Those who suffered casualty during the gunshots need to answer some questions too. Even though we want to help, we still must extract info that will help the government to prepare in the future and understand how and when to react because the governor, in particular, is a youth," Kemi tweeted.

Kemi added that Tinubu decried the attack on and looting of public and private assets in the state by hoodlums who hijacked the #EndSARS peaceful protests.

"ASIWAJU TINUBU came to the governor's office with his son Seyi Tinubu who was reportedly kidnapped and later said to have left the country. Tinubu questioned the burning of property, police stations looting and ANARCHY going on across the nation which saddened him," she added

Tinubu also dismissed social media reports that he jetted out of the country in the heat of the #ENDSARS protests, especially the alleged shooting at the Lekki Toll Plaza.
