Former Secretary of state, and Ex-First Lady of the United State of America, Hillary Rodham Clinton has publicly criticized President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Army over the shooting of #EndSARS protesters in Lagos.
Mrs. Clinton made the call in a tweet via her official Twitter page on Tuesday after footage of security agents shooting at unarmed peaceful protesters went viral on social media.
"I’m calling on @mbuhari and the @hqnigerianarmy to stop killing young #EndSARS protesters. #StopNigeriaGovernment," she tweeted.
Peaceful #EndSARS protesters were on Tuesday, Oct 20 massacred at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos a few hours after the governor of the state Babajide Sanwo-Olu had declared a 24 hours curfew in the state.
According to reports, security cameras at the Lekki Toll Gate were removed before the security agents started releasing gunshots at the protesters who were carrying the country's national flag.
