Transfer Deadline Day: Man Utd Agree £27m Deal To Sign Exciting Attacker
Amad Traore
With the transfer window ending by 11:00pm today, Manchester United are now desperate to strengthen a squad that was trashed 6-1 by Mourinho's Spurs at Old Trafford on Sunday.

According to a seasoned Sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have agreed a £27m deal to sign a promising young right-winger Amad Traore from Italian side Atalanta.

Manchester Evening News reported last week that the Red Devils had opened talks with Atalanta about a deal for the highly-rated young winger, but bowed out of the deal as it appeared that the 18-year-old was set to join Parma, however, that proposed move has fallen through.

That has opened the door for Manchester United and Fabrizio Romano claims the club have now agreed terms with Atalanta to sign Traore on a permanent basis with United paying £27m plus add-ons.

The young winger will arrive Old Trafford in January due to passport timing and work permit issues but it looks as though Solskjaer has snapped-up one of the hottest talents in Italian football.

The club have been working on deals for the likes of Jadon Sancho and Ousmane Dembele in recent months and Solskjaer remains keen to sign a top class winger before the window closes.

Traore joined the Atalanta youth academy in 2015 and has successfully worked his way into the first team set-up, forging a reputation as one of the brightest young players in Serie A.

The Ivorian could be an exciting addition to Manchester United if this proposed deal gets over the line given his talent and age.

United has already snapped-up the signings of Edinson Cavani from PSG, and left-back Alex Telles from Porto.
