Pray for me, ‘Osuofia’ Says As He Celebrates 63rd Birthday
Renowned Nollywood actor and comedian, Nkem Owoh, popularly referred to as Osuofia, has taken to social media to share some photos as he celebrates his 63rd birthday.

The veteran actor who was born on 7th Febuary 1958, took to his Instagram page to announce his new age and also mentioned that his fans say a word of prayer for him. 

He wrote;

“Happy birthday to me. Join me in this celebration by saying a word of prayer.”

Owoh is one of the names that cannot be left out when considering amiable personalities of the Nigerian movie industry. 

The award-winning actor had become a  source of happiness and joy to many households, putting  smiles on the faces of many who watch his movies. 

He hails from Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria and has been acting in various television and film productions since his university days.

Owoh, with his hilarious Osuofia screen mannerism, has blessed the Nollywood industry with many interesting and fascinating movies that put smiles on the faces of  his audience.

His talent and skills continue to keep fans glued to their TV screens with his peculiar style and funny contents. 

In 2008, he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a leading role in the Nigerian movie “Stronger than Pain”. 

Owoh featured in the 2003 film ‘Osuofia in London’, ‘Things Fall Apart’ with Pete Edochie in 1987, `Ukwa’ with Patience Ozokwor in 2000, ‘Big Man Big Trouble’ with Francis Agu in 1999, ‘Conspiracy’ with Onyeka Onwenu in 2001 and many others.

He was also one of the star actor in Genevieve Nnaji's 'Lion Heart' in 2018, where he played a leading role as her uncle alongside veteran actor, Pete Edochie who acted the role of her father.
